globecast.online
A globe-led world newspaper · "Welcome Home"
globecast.online turns the whole planet into a front page. Spin the 3D satellite globe, tap any country — or search any city, town or village — and instantly get that place's real local news, live radio, current weather, photos, webcams and public social chatter, all in one view.
globecast.online stitches together trusted, mostly keyless public data sources — Mapbox for the globe, Google News RSS for headlines, Radio Browser for stations, Open-Meteo for weather, Wikimedia Commons for photos, Windy for webcams, adsb.lol for flights, AISstream for ships, and Mastodon, Bluesky and TikTok for the social wire. There is no login and no account required — just open it and explore.
The world is big, but understanding it shouldn't feel far away. Hello Earth exists to make any corner of the planet feel one tap away — to help you feel at home anywhere on Earth. That's why every visit opens with a simple message: Welcome Home.
The globe is an interactive 3D satellite map. Tap any country, spin and zoom the planet, or use the search bar to jump to any city, town or village. When you land on a place, globecast.online automatically loads that country's edition — local news, radio, weather, photos, webcams and social posts — and shows the correct local time and temperature. Double-tap anywhere to frame that spot; toggle Flight Radar or Marine Radar to see live aircraft and ships around your view.
For each country we surface its own leading publications rather than the same few international wires. Headlines are gathered from public news feeds, and articles written in other languages are automatically translated to English so you can read them in our built-in Reader — with a one-tap toggle back to the original language.
Yes. Stations come from the community-run Radio Browser directory and stream in real time. Each edition auto-tunes a local station, and you can switch stations from the player ribbon or the music menu.
Mapbox (globe), Google News RSS (headlines), Radio Browser (radio), Open-Meteo (weather), Wikimedia Commons (photos), Windy (webcams), adsb.lol / adsbdb.com (flights), AISstream (ships), and Mastodon, Bluesky and TikTok (social wire). Each provider is governed by its own terms.

We keep only anonymous usage analytics (a random visitor id, referrer and page path) and a best-effort country lookup from your IP for aggregate stats — no accounts, no advertising profiles, and we don't sell your data. If you grant location access it's used once, on launch, only to open your own country, and coordinates aren't stored on our servers. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
